An article posted earlier today by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Shelly Bradbury outlines a story that in early August, Ross Commissioners were provided with a letter accusing Lt. Matthew Grubb of inappropriate behavior by some fellow officers. But there is more to this story…
(Access McCandless was made aware of this letter earlier in the week but we knew that the Post Gazette was likely covering the story and wanted to let them handle it. After all, the last time we did this, it resulted in retaliation. Our goal is to expose corruption, as it always has been.)
The Post Gazette reports that the complaint was timed to be delivered ahead of the August 5th Commissioners meeting where commissioners voted to fire Officer Mark Sullivan. Read more about that here. If you don’t have a subscription to the Post Gazette, click here.
More to come….
The letter is posted below.
